This gynaecological scan is available to post-menopausal
women (i.e. 1 year after last period).
We will perform a detailed scan to look at the
size, shape and condition of the:
Uterus
lining of the womb (Endometrium)
Both ovaries
This
ultrasound scan are for the detection or exclusion of:
detection or monitoring of fibroids
checking for causes of irregular bleeding
detection of endometrial polyps
